Yes I did, but I predicted a win against Carolina, so those two clearly cancel each other out! LOL!

5-1 would make us 9-6 with a game to go Mr. Wizard. ;) LOL. I like this Rookie. He\'s not too bad. <sips the Tang> He\'s the best poster on this board. <another sip> I think he should be the moderator. <sip, sip> Is he my dad?

(In reality, the Kid is right. At least the Saints have some control over their destiny. They get to face potential playoff teams in Philly, NYG, the Bucs, and Dallas. I don\'t know if I\'d go so far to say that they control their destiny, but those game will help if the Saints, <sips the Tang> make that the 2003 NFC South Champion Saints, can pick up wins against other playoff contenders)

Why not Philly over Green Bay? My way of think is that we want the teams closest to the Saints\' record to lose and teams with worse records than the Saints to win as long as that doesn\'t move them into a tie with them (Of course, choose AFC over NFC everytime).

I can see where that would put Philly two games ahead, but there is time to catch them and that puts the Saints in a safer position of being tied with teams that are currently ahead such as Green Bay. Plus we get a shot at a tie breaker this year against Philly and not GB. As long as we win that should help.

My thinking is that if Philly loses then both GB and Phi will be 5-4. If Philly wins, then we\'ve got to catch someone in the wild card race who is 6-3. I don\'t know if the Saints can do that. But if the best wild card team is 5-4, we\'ve got a decent shot at it.

First of all: I still think you\'ll have more fun just taking it week-by-week. Beat Atlanta to go to .500 and work from there.
I\'d like to see:

Carolina over Tampa (we will not catch Carolina)
Baltimore over St Louis (obviously)
Atlanta over NYG (pretty much obviously)
Philly over Green Bay (the Eagles are 1 1/2 games ahead of us and are starting to roll. I\'m betting on them to win the NFC East)
Buffalo over Dallas (obviously)
Minnesota over San Diego (doesn\'t really matter, Minnesota is too good this year. Plus somebody needs to score in my fantasy league)
Seattle over Washington (just because we won\'t catch Seattle. I don\'t think Washington will be a threat to make the play-offs)

My hope rests on the Cowboys fading. Parcells is good for 3 extra wins. They have used all of those already and their schedule the rest of the way is pretty tough. What the Saints need to do is crawl up to one game behind the Cowboys and we\'ll have a play-off game at home in week 17 (just like last year - strike that - with a better ending than last year). 5-2 is a must from now on and I don\'t see it yet.

I knew he couldn\'t hold out. I bet he was about to bust with no where to vent and spew. Someone posted early in the season that HazHadits theory for this year was to start with the collapse and end up with a bang. I\'ll be damn if that doesn\'t look like what is happening. I think we will have a legitimate shot at a slot in the playoffs. I see Carolina pulling off a Saints \'02 imitation this year, the Bucs is bit with the SB jinx and the Bird Turds couldn\'t do anything even if the Vick-tim came back today.

The Saints aren\'t only going to make the playoffs, they will win the division, <sips Tang>, and the NFC Championship, <sip, sip>, and the Super Bowl, <gulp>, they won\'t lose until 2010, and if you can\'t see how obviously REALISTIC that is, then you are either blind or just a pessimistic person who is looking for any excuse to bash this team!\" LMAO. WhoDat and Clone don\'t believe we can catch Carolina. But, I do. That\'s what I\'m hoping for and I don\'t think it\'s out of the question. I think Carolina will go 3-5 the rest of the way. I guess y\'all didn\'t think Huston would beat Carolina? Carolina has been very lucky to get the record they have. Let me say it again -- LUCKY !! -- As long as their is a chance to catch Carolina, why would I be hoping that they would win? No sir. I will be hoping for them to lose so we can win the division and whatever happens will happen. I\'ll let the rest of you be wishing for 2nd place in the division.
