Remember Blazing Saddles, when the town needed help and the town spokesman said they\'d take everybody except the Irish? LOL Well, eventually all were accepted and there was a happy ending. I vote FOR Gator\'s return. I myself took a several day hiatus to cool off a bit. That break kept me from posting a bunch of stuff I\'m sure I would regret. Gator has posted some good stuff and I\'m sure that would continue if he were allowed back in. Billy is back...ummm, or is he...so I say let all be forgiven and lets get back to disagreeing in a civilized manner! We\'ve all posted things I\'m sure we wish we could take back...well, all of us except Saintz08, but then he\'s always wrong anyway!

For what it is worth, I would vote in favor of Gatorman coming back. In my opinion he has expressed adequate contrition. This board is always in need of people who want to post on interesting subjects AND argue their positions on subjects. Obviously, things got out of hand.

Ultimately, the decision lies with the owners/managers of this board, but I wanted to voice my approval for reinstatement.

Just gotta say this for Gator. It takes much of a man to do what he\'s done for the members and me. It\'s not easy to admit that we all have been wrong in the past. Anybody that\'s man enough to do that I will vote for. The way it\'s worded tells me that he means it. Bring him back.

I have nothing against Billy but he has yet to do what Gator has done for the members and admit he was wrong. I know there was a buried post somewhere on here but I think it needs to be out in the open so all can see it. Then I might vote to bring him back too. Something about sneaking back just doesn\'t sit well with me. Tells me that a person thinks he can do no wrong and doesn\'t care about anyone other than himself. We\'ll see what happens next.

Thats a genuine apology, it\'s merits speak for itself. This board is a lot better with Gator on it. He has been a mainstay here a lot longer than most, certainly I. He understands how he impared the free flow of ideas in this fourm and deserves another chance because of what he adds to it and helped postively make it.His insight, humor and dedication to this board should not be lost.

Let me just say this. There is no doubt that I have done things that have broken the rules. It\'s not my forum and I should do what I am asked to do, whether I agree or not. From now on I will follow every rule. No more problems outta me. If I have offened anyone I apolojize. It will not happen again.

JoeSam, I think that was an apology even though he is not the man Gator was, who came back with his hat in his hand. I agree thta there is just something about sneaking back in under an alias and not a good one at that. However, I would vote to allow BC to come back if he extends a heartfelt apology to you, Halo and the posters of this board under his true monicker not some lame alias.

I believe you Billy and miss and respect many of the contributions you bring to this board. I must also add you were one of the main reasons I quit posting on this board for a while. You took it upon your self to be the guardian of an ideal and anyone who disagreed with it would get pounded on with a relentless stream of posts. You post count was unreal it got exhausting. You would never back down and seemed to always have to have the last word. I\'m not into arguing, some here love the mental gymnastics of a good debate your definatly one. There comes a point when enough is enough. It would be good to hear you say you respect the opinions of others enough to allow them to go unbagered. Not uncommented on or even unchallenged, just not dumped on. You bring a lot of good to this forum your dedication is awesome a little tolerance would help.

Seriously. I really meant I was sorry for giving Joe problems. If I didn\'t feel that way, I would not have said it. I don\'t know what constitutes an acceptable apology, but my apology was sincere. My promises to not cause any more problems was sincere. Gator\'s post was much more touching than mine, I will admit, but mine was sincere just the same.
