Can Chris Ivory return punts. Just a question.

While I love Irory with the ball.... PR's are open field maneuvers and we need someone with sure hands, Ivory has a tendency to one hand the ball once he gets into open field.. Given he has not fumbled in 3-4 weeks... I wouldn't chance it.

It sure would be fun to watch him bowl some people over though....

If he's 100% healthy, and by all accounts is, then why not use him the way he's supposed to be used?

He could just as easily be hurt on a swing pass as on a punt return. Do we not want him to take any swing passes either?

I agree 100%. Bush is most dangerous with the ball in space and returning punts is a good opportunity to get him that space.

If he's healthy, cut him loose .... teams will start to directional kick again with RB back there which should improve this team's starting field postition so then Drew and Co will start to have short fields again which equals more points

I don't know about this... It's a catch 22 really. He could get hurt on a handoff play, up the middle. I say let Reggie decide for now. If he doesn't feel ready, then don't push it. But I do have fond memories of him taking that one back against the Cards in the playoffs. And he called the formation on that one. I don't know.
