Dilemma...

My wife informed me we will be having Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow at 3pm (we live in Southlake, home of the new LS, holder, and kicker for the Saints). I told her I will be eating in the media room. The below link is my dilemma. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

That's funny man

You don't miss the game

AsylumGuido 11-24-2010 03:49 PM

Sorry. My wife told me we would be leaving her mother's house after eating early to be able to make it home in time for the game.

:bng:

:D

Heeeee-larious!

So, the "Double-Bag" is now the new "Douchebag". I like it.

That is a funny clip.
Guys, buy your wives/moms/moms-in-laws/ and all women in your family a nice gift. Hint-no appliances.
You should be fine. Stay out of the doghouse.

Thanks for the comments. But I don't feel the love from my second family...Black and Gold Saints fans.

Really need your help here. "I am drowning here and you're describing water!". Quote from "As Good As It Gets"

I suggest a compromise and give her her 3pm dinner time but make her guarantee you'll be allowed to head to the media room in 1 hour. That'll get you in the game mid-2nd quarter.

Great suggestion. However, I am one of those Saints fans that does not compromise when it comes to watching the Saints play. I watch the Saints whereever I travel and I travel a lot internationally. I have been up at 2, 3, 4 am watching my Saints...knowing full well I have to be in a meeting at 8am in London!

Cut me, and I bleed BLACK and GOLD. Btw; although I live in Dallas (Southlake exactly), I HATE the Cowgirls!!!!!! Also, my wife burns water, in other words, she cannot cook. I am the cook and family and friends are depending on me to have dinner ready!!!!!!

I get the feeling I am going to be in the "dog house". Who dat agrees?

Give up the first quarter and use it as leverage next time you have this problem.

Told my family that the Saints are playing and I really don't give a rat's arse about eating turkey. Rather watch the Saints beating the cowgirls' a$$es. If not done by 3, then don't expect me there. Period. We are eating at 12 and I'm bringing dessert. Be home with drink in my hand by 3:30pm east coast time. Bring IT! Please have your wife call me and I will straighten her out, woman to woman!

Kick off is not untill 3:30. That gives you 30 minutes to eat fast and get to the media room in time for the kickoff. If she still wants you to hang around, it's time to put your foot down...and ask her real nice if you can pleeeeease go watch the game. LOL

Good Luck BI, let us know how it turns out.

Our family came to a nice compromise. We turned our phones off and paused the game midway through the 2nd qtr. Enjoyed a non rushed dinner and sat our heavier butts back on the couch and picked up where we left off. Got to fast forward through all the commercials and halftime garbage and caught up to live time late in the 3rd qtr. Thank god for DVR.

I know some of you would like to know how my dilemma turned out on Thanksgiving.

What I did was promise my wife something new and useful for our car. She was so excited, she said sure watch the Saints and we can eat early. So we ate early and yesterday I purchased the attached for our car.

See below. Watcha think?

IF you would have gotten that before the season started you would not be in that dillema in the first place.

Good point. However, it is brand new on the market. Want one? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Btw; I just became the global distributor/spokesperson due to my ability to describe the product and its IMPACT.

biloxi-indian 11-27-2010 12:48 PM

Given the discussion in the Will Smith being arrested thread, I would NOT advise giving one of these passenger seat belts to a "psycho crack-whore wielding a knife or gun". It could impair a drivers focus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to recommend to the manufacturer they place a warning label. "This product is not to be use with a psycho crack-whore wielding a knife or gun sitting in the passenger seat. It could be harmful to the driver."
