HELL YEA!!!!!!!!!!

:bng::bng::bng:Thats all I can say. It looked like it was getting away from us and we pulled it off. I hate the Cowgirls with a passion, so for me this win was awesome. Here we go Black and Gold!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible second half. If it wasn't for Malcolm Jenkins we would've been absolute dog meat.

Complete breakdown in the second half - all sides of the ball.

We found a way to win, but let's not get ****y... Dallas choked.

This. Plain and simple, Malcolm Jenkins saved our asses, we can't give up our leads like that.

A win is a win.
The Saints started out like I had wished.
Score fast, plenty, and keep the momentum going. Both sides of the Saints team, showed up for work.
THEN, as dizzle and saintsfan said, they slipped up in the 3rd, 4th .

Dallas Cowboys did not choke.
They really had it going.

I am glad the Saints won. Just saying,it was really scary and close there.:bng:

Sorry, but a win isn't just a win...

We failed on every level in the second half to an inferior opponent. This is the second half of the season and we shouldn't be playing like it's Arizona again...

Did the Patriots fail to finish against Detroit today?

YES, we'll take the win, but DON'T ignore how close we came to getting SPANKED.

I don't completely disagree, but consider Dallas is a talented but currently disjointed team. They don't suck.

The Patriots didn't fail to finish, but they did fail to start and if not for a bad throw early in teh 3rd quarter of that game it might have been different.

What overcomes the coasting we seemed to be guilty of, for me at least, is the desire we showed at the end of the game, on offense and on defense, to get the win. That matters.

OldMaid 11-25-2010 09:46 PM

saintsfan,I understand what you are saying.
I am trying not to sound negative on this Saints' win.
I have posted that it was a win, but yeah, it was a scary win.
I agree that cutting close can go either way.

I'll be honest, I watched the first half and listen to the rest driving home from BR to Houston with the wife. Turned it off right before the Roy fiasco, I must have missed the fumble/steal by a second. If I would have been watching the game I would have left it on but oh well...she was happy to crank up her music and we had a good time just talking. First thing I did when I got home was checked the score. Man, it put a big S#@! eating grin on my face. A nice end to a great Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see the highlights over and over and over.

Championship teams find ways to win ugly games, they did at least 4 times last year, so it's time for this team to go regroup and learn from this win, big lesson is to not let inferior teams back into the game and for Sean to not get cute when up 17 points

I would say that the team was fine, until Reggie played.

xan 11-25-2010 11:03 PM

You have a point, Pher, Reggie's enterancecoincided with the team losing focus. We were cruising until he entered. Something not right for both Reggie and with Reggie relative to the team.

RaginCajun83 11-25-2010 11:07 PM

After the forced swing pass to Reggie the offense went conservative as can be add in the fumble and it's starting to look like this team doesn't need him on the field, shake the rust off on your own time when your number is called you got to produce

RaginCajun83 11-25-2010 11:09 PM

Leave Bush on the sideline and the team would of been fine

brock3344 11-26-2010 10:04 AM

A short week on the road beating Dallas. I won't anal-ize this one. Glad to have the win.

SaintsBro 11-26-2010 10:58 AM

It was pretty uncanny to me, how much it looked like the Minnesota and 49ers games from early in the year. The 49ers game in particular. Like, you have this flash of total AWESOMENESS, right out the gate, then a lot of muddling around, then Reggie muffs a punt, them the game starts to slip away, then at the last minute the team wakes up in a panic and gets the job done, mostly by catching a lucky break or two. I'm happy it's a win and all, but that is NOT a recipe for championship caliber football. To me this was a regression to the lackluster Saints of the beginning of the year -- the Steelers game looked like a completely different team, by contrast.

CheramieIII 11-26-2010 11:15 AM

Just think of the talk if Hartley wouldn't have missed that damn FG
