Aikman

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I just hate it when they cut to the booth. Aikman's head takes up over half of the screen. That dude has a huge melon!...

Blah, blah, blah. Screw him and the rest of the cowgirls. I bet the media will pick them again to win superbowl next year.

I love me some Theismann and Billick.

Mike Tirico is one of the best at what he does. Very sharp and articulate.
I was impressed at the World Cup games in South Africa. He interviewed people regarding apartheid and the stories they told were amazing and emotional and he was solid. Something about it impressed the heck out of me.

Have you seen Joe Bucks head? He has a fivehead. Too big to be called a forehead.

Looks like we had just as many fans in the stands as they did. We were certainly louder than them

Did you miss the facemask on our guy? I believe it was Smith, couldn't really tell since I was too busy screaming FACEMASK at the refs. Also several holds that kept our guys from being closer to Witten, Jones, etc when they caught the balls and made first downs as a result. But the biggest one was the Austin TD and the one that would have been the kicker had we lost...

The Monday night crew to me is the best - Joe Buck is OK but Aikman is a homer to the Cowboys and he infects Joe lol

Actually, Aikman said at the beginning of the broadcast, "I've never seen a Super Bowl Champion team get this little attention at this stage of the season, with this kind of record."

I think he believes the press should give the Saints more love.

I guess it's just my hang up, but there aren't any crews I enjoy listening to for games. Usually I end up muting the sound and watching without "expert commentary". Apart from updates on injuries that may have happened during the game, they don't provide me with any insight that I didn't already have. I don't need Buck or anybody else to tell me what down it is or how important a play is. I don't need Aikman or Gruden to tell me how good QB "X" is or how great whatever coach is at adjustments. Watching the game you can figure that out for yourself. Most of the time I find them annoying and distracting. But hey, that's just me.

I would love to be able to hear Jim Henderson in Houston.
