Player/ tackle/ assist /sacks
L. Glover 21/ 8 /3
Johnathan Sullivan 17 /12/ 1

Glover has 4 more tackles and 2 more sacks than Sullivan. I think the rookie compares well to Glover.
---------------------------------------------
Player/attemts/total/average/long/td
R. Williams 197 / 660 / 3.4 / 28 / 5
D. McAllister 195/ 871/ 4.5/ 37/ 4

I'm not missing Ricky.
---------------------------------------------

Normand Hand
Total/assist/sacks
10/ 4 / 1
Willie Whitehead
40/ 33 / 5.5

Whitehead has 30 more tackles than Hand and 4.5 more sacks. Norman ain't doing nothing in Seattle,.
--------------------------------------------------
Player/tackles/assists/interceptions
Sammy Knight/ 44/ 19/ 1
Jay Bellamy 51/ 7/ 0

Bellamy has 7 more tacles than Knight. While Knight has 1 interception on Jay. Not exactly a big difference there.

I\'m trying to show how all of these great players that we got rid of stack up against the current players. \"when in doubt- whip it out.\" Right?

While I\'m not a big fan of statistics anyway, there are two positions you can\'t judge AT ALL using statistics: Offensive linemen and defensive tackles. Sullivan made his best game against Tampa Bay, registering one tackle.
I\'m glad Norman is gone, apparently he managed to get in the doghouse in Seattle as well. You can\'t compare his stats to Whitehead\'S, though. I haven\'t checked (and wouldn\'t know of a way how to), but my guess is more than half of his tackles came when he was playing from the DE spot. Apples and oranges really.

Yeah, I know clone. Stats don\'t tell the whole story but I thought it would be interesting to compare anyway. And, you are right about most of Whitehead\'s tackles coming from the DE postion. I was going to compare to Grady\'s, but he\'s no longer here. I guess Kenny Smith would have been a better comparison.
