Reggie Bush Tweets on his mistake.

Gonna put in overtime so I can play better next week. A true leader doesn't make mistakes in crunch tine! Gotta be better! No other choice!

Per his twitter

neugey 11-27-2010 09:45 AM

Practice is important, hopefully he can do a full practice this next time.

dizzle88 11-27-2010 09:49 AM

I think most of it was just rust, catching the ball in warmups is different than catching it in real life game time when people are flying around. In the superbowl reggie caught a similar pass from brees and took it about 15 yards, the difference was he really didnt miss any time all season so he wasn't rusty at all. Missing 8 weeks will do that to someone, he will get it back but keep him off punt returns for the minute.

OldMaid 11-27-2010 10:10 AM

I trust he will be back to the real Bush.
Out 8 wks.is a long time and it was during the season, not off season time.
I sure he has his confidence up now. What could go wrong, went wrong. That part is over.

He uses his phone to send tweets, and he probably has that aggravating spell check option turned off like most people lol.

cajun911 11-27-2010 12:21 PM

He'll be fine. I was just re leaved that his mistake didn't cost us the game.

agreed

Reggie needs to quit posting pc sports comments and start making plays on the field, Lance not only catches that pass but he's walking into the endzone

foreverfan 11-27-2010 02:05 PM

Bush owes Jenkins his game check.

Here here... and Meach and Moore .....

Beastmode 11-27-2010 02:21 PM

Love Reggie but the fumble, there was no need to turn it into a circus act by running lateral. There are times when that is needed but we were way ahead. Go down. Thank god Roy decided to do the same thing.

The Saints are going to have to make good decisions from here on out because they are not going to have the luxury of losing the last three games this year. That starts with playing as a team. If you are a DT and you intercept the ball go down, I don't care if you practice carrying the ball and everyone tells you you look like Barry Sanders. GO DOWN.

skymike 11-29-2010 06:35 AM

Come back strong, Reggie!

spkb25 11-29-2010 07:10 AM

At least he cares, come on RB- get ready

SaintPauly 11-29-2010 12:21 PM

Like I said, the difference between good players, and great players, is knowing when to just take one yard, instead of trying for 80. Bush is a great player, but he has to reallize there is a team around him, and he doesn't have to do it himself. Much love for Reggie, get er done!

I wish everyone would put up an avatar picture of themselves at a game, if only just for a little while, so I can see what everyone looks like... Been on here for maaany years, talking to folks, and I wouldn't know them from the garbage man, if I saw them in real life....

saintsfan1976 11-30-2010 09:22 AM

Who here really expected Bush to be game-ready after being out for weeks?

darstep 11-30-2010 03:55 PM

Reggie seemed like the kid that was in awe of his surroundings and couldn't fully process all the things that were happening around him...too many swing thoughts in his head at game speed. Once things slow down for him in the moment, AGAIN, he'll be fine. Looked like his adrenaline never settled. Swing pass hits him in the head and he gets crushed. Punt hangs in the air for 2 hours and 17 minutes while he replays in his mind the last punt that he muffed, and the result of it, and how much he's missing Kimmie. He reaches over rather than under on that crossing route for the so called missed scoring opp. After the boys hit him and fall on him a few times this week, he'll settle down and hopefully the game slows down for him too. Please let it happen like that. Dude needs a new deal.

we all know how the guy really comes back strong after a melvin. he always looks like a star the next game. depending how much hes in this weeks game plan he will have sportscenter material that we will be proud of. does anyone know offhand if brown stadium is turf or grass?

Pretty sure it's turf

st thomas 11-30-2010 07:04 PM

thanks saintfan. it will help

CheramieIII 11-30-2010 07:10 PM

Just hang on to the ball DUMBARSE!

Cory9289 11-30-2010 07:35 PM

I don't blame Reggie for the fumble. It was caused from behind, it could have happened to Moore. Imo, Moore tries even when it's very dangerous to, and runs with the ball the same way (one hand). All it would take is Moore to have someone come from behind and slap at it.

He made positive yards. Though he went lateral, he didn't dance around like usual. He looked like a normal punt returner, caught in a bad moment.

AlaskaSaints 12-01-2010 09:06 PM

I gotta admit, I didn't care if I ever saw Reggie again after last Sunday.

But now a little time has passed and I'm ready to see him fly over the goal line again!...

...please...

Hey, SaintPaul, I was in my hometown of Kosciusko for the holiday game. I may have to swing over to Louisville and shake your hand next time. Whatever happened to Marcus Dupree? I used to play against him back in high school. - lol

Alaska!

Twitter...

defined as the unnecessary, narcissistic, rambling publication of disturbing, disorganized thought patterns...

This would only be entertaining if it was not censored and accompanied by video...

i.e. Peyton Manning (I'm a Fan) after throwing the pick to Porter in the Superbowl (Tweet - "F-U-U-U-D-D-G-G-E-E, that wasn't the highlight Gatorade wanted")

i.e. Justin Timberlake after exposing Janet Jackson (Tweet - "W-W-O-O-O-W-W, She's related to Michael?!?")

i.e. Brittney Spears when deciding to kiss Madonna to spark her career (Tweet - "---------------------")
