There's never a reason to hit a women. I do know there's sometimes two sides to a story and the press is going to jump on the most sensational side. Later we find out there was ANOTHER story but that usually isn't told.

I agree with Jnormand, the cops saw it happen then they know "what happened" ya know.

I understand. I've made that mistake before too. After reading the whole thread the vibe felt like that.

All I know is that Sean Payton will not tollerate this behavior.

Yes he will. As long as Will doesnt cause problems in the locker room Smith is fine.

And there is equally no excuse for a woman to hit a man

Where is the logic in getting physical with anyone?

CheramieIII 11-27-2010 07:43 PM

None really unless your talking about someone who wants to get physical.

I wish the NFL would deal with the problem of domestic violence. It just seems like you hear far more domestic abuse stories in the NFL than in other sports. In any case, this one doesn't sound nearly as bad as the Steven Jackson one or the multiple Brandon Marshall stories I've read about. That doesn't excuse it, however, and it's extremely disappointing. Having said that, the Saints probably have the cleanest off-field lives of any NFL team I can think of.

I agree with what's been said before. There is NO REASON to lay hands on a woman other than to caress her lovingly. I'll take a few shots and leave before I strike a woman. Period.

I hate to see this and I hope things work out.
