dang, wonder what the story is, this can't be good.

Saintswrath 11-27-2010 10:40 AM

Man! WTH!! Im going to wait for the full story, Women aren't always the innocent one's in these type of cases, the man however (especially an athletic man) will always get behind bar's first unless he get's shot, burned or stabbed.

Ashley 11-27-2010 10:42 AM

Crap here we go. We will just have to wait to see what's up with this one.

Saintswrath 11-27-2010 10:45 AM

ESPN will finally give Saints some airtime.. .. "Sigh"

QBREES9 11-27-2010 10:50 AM

This can't be good, Domestic abuse

niteadept 11-27-2010 10:53 AM

Weren't they just on the TV during the game wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving?!! Not so happy after all.....

QBREES9 11-27-2010 10:59 AM

Nobody knows what actually happened. In most states there has to be an arrest anytime the police are called for domestic violence, even if it's just two people yelling at each other. Hopefully that's what happened.

I'd read it was battery...

A. Domestic abuse battery is the intentional use of force or violence committed by one household member upon the person of another household member.

Lets wait it out.. not saying he's innocent by any means but Women can be very conniving with stories especially when scorned..

Holidays can bring the best and the worst out of people.

Turbo Saint 11-27-2010 11:58 AM

from what i know in louisiana, if the woman "claims" abuse, the man MUST go. friend of mine is NOPD (yea, wow, idiot, i know) but he says he has arrests like these all the time and there's nothing you can do other than fight it in court and waste more of your time.

CheramieIII 11-27-2010 12:03 PM

I don't care what a woman does, you don't hit her! You kick her arse out, take away her kids or screw her momma but you don't hit her!

504state 11-27-2010 12:07 PM

Oh well. At least it will take a while to all come together so hopefully he wont miss any time this year.

I am politely going to disagree. I think that is almost always the case, but if a woman raises her hand at a man then she has to expect she might get hit back. I am not advocating punching her, but she might get slapped. I don't care what a man does- a woman should keep her hands to herself equally.

Agreed. Woman can be every bit as violent as a man, and if a woman flies off the handle and comes after me with a pan or something I am gonna lay that ***** out. That being said, I dont put myself in the position to get involved with a woman who would do something like that, so I dont have to worry about it. If you are willing to stay in a relationship that has the potential to get that bad, you kind of bring it on yourself. There are plenty of warning signs before violence starts and there isnt any tang worth hanging with for that.

You can disagree politely if you wanna but the best thing to do if your woman is wooping your arse, GET A NEW WOMAN!

Agreed- that is very true as far as the knowing not to stay in a relationship like that. I wouldn't lay her out lol, but I am certainly not going to be a punching bag

Aside from you exaggerating what I said- I agree that it is best to move on if a woman hits you. All of that said no woman has the right to put her hands on a person anymore than I do. If a woman does- she has to expect she will be hit back.

This extends to any woman, not jut your significant other.

If some psycho crack-whore is coming at me or my family with a knife or gun, I'm driving my fist as freaking hard as I can straight into her head, hoping I knock her the f*** into the afterlife.

saintfan 11-27-2010 12:41 PM

As the man, in a domestic situation, you can only do what is necessary to keep from getting killed...and that's the truth, and even then you 're likey screwed. If she's hitting you, the best bet is to leave. You cannot hold her back, grab her arms, push her away...none of that. Women that attack their significant others in such a way are well aware of that too...believe dat.

Saintswrath 11-27-2010 12:41 PM

I've updated it again.. Keep checking back.. updates apparently are flowing quickly.. im all over the place.. This is the only forum with quick developing stories i've checked all other forums.

Really? I think Brown's done a good job.

Not good at all, have to wait till the whole story comes out before goddell can suspend right?

Brown has been a very pleasant surprise IMO.

Beastmode 11-27-2010 01:14 PM

The man has a violent job and it's hard to control that anger. I totally understand how it could happen but they have had enough classes on the topic in the NFL. He's going to get suspended. The court date may come sooner than later just in time for the playoffs.

Halo 11-27-2010 01:16 PM

Here's my question, and no one will report this, but what did his wife do to make him do this?

RaginCajun83 11-27-2010 01:18 PM

Wasn't like they were getting much of a pass rush with him in, he dodged the star caps suspension but if true then he's not getting away from this one

Doubt that comes out since the story involves a NFL player

How can someone MAKE someone do something like that. He has control of his actions whatever he did or didnt do he did or didnt do on his own. The statement that a woman can make a man hit her is one of the most backwoods, unintelligent things I have ever heard.

RaginCajun83 11-27-2010 01:28 PM

There's no excuse to hit a women

Unfortunately it was a Holiday, holidays bring drinking, Testosterone and adrenaline filled men brings out the uncontrolled animal instinct, Women and Children should just not do anything to purposely escalate anything..

Since it was at a club, im thinking he was sippin on some'm and saw someone up on his wife or his wife up on someone, jealousy kicked in (because Will smith isn't exactly the most attractive dude).. and things went south from there..

Thats how it's playing out in my head at least.

Either way, unless she knocked him up side the head with something, threatened to shoot him, stab him etc, he shouldn't have put his hands thats attached to 282+ lbs of body mass on any women, even thought it didn't seem she was hit, he pulled her hair, it''s wrong.
