One week at a time

There are a lot of posts by people upset about discussions of future games. They usually have a "one week at a time" in there some where, or we only need to talk about the facts.

Just for clarification. We are the fans. Nothing we discuss will actually affect the out come of a game. Looking into the future is what we do as fans. We speculate, we hope, and we dream. We do not go to practice, we do not play in games, we need something to fill our 6 days of the week that we can not watch our Saints.

Facts are like stats. Once they are laid out, they pretty much are what they are. Not a whole lot of discussion to be had, with out speculation.

Our team is the New Orleans Saints. That team and the coaching staff are the people who need to focus one week at a time.

We know our players and Coaches tweet and they they facebook. I do not think it is a far fetch of the imagination that they might actually surf the occasional Fan Forum. You just never know when one of them may read an idea or comment in our forums and think ... "That never crossed my mind."

I suspect the players check out the forums for kicks once in a while. I doubt the Coaching staff has the time but you never know. The good thing is that there are a lot of good threads and discussions in this forum, some other forums are just trash talk with little value.

You just never know these days... Poor Hartley may have been racking his brain, then came here and realized he is allergic to the Super Dome.
