I said fairly commonly. Missed kicks happen. Even the best of kickers miss ones they should make. You don't throw the baby out with the bath water because of one missed kick. There's not another kicker on the open market with his accuracy at a distance.

I agree, but I'm not talking about that. I'm just saying missing under 30 yards is extremely uncommon and should definitely be a cause for concern.

Shanle has 0 Tackles and 1 assist in this BAL game. There is no excuse for those numbers... A line backer with no tackles and only 1 assist! Against a team with 208 NetYards Rushing!

Compared to:
Vilma 8T/3A
Clark 7T/2A

This has been going on all year long with whoever he has in coverage, its time to upgrade both OLBs this offseason

Yeah its hard to think about both spots because we don't know what J.Casillas would have been like in coverage, sadly he went down in the final preseason game when he shouldn't have even been playing

But Shanle definitley needs to go, i don't care where, but he needs to be let go or traded i don't mind which, he is atleast 2 or 3 steps behind on every play and when its a situation like 3rd and 18, opponents go straight after shanle and pick up 20 yards plus.

OLB has got to be one of the spots we have to address this offseason, gaping hole right there because Shanle is just as bad as "that guy who we won't name" who played CB for us in 2007-2008.

"Ryan......INTERCEPTED....going back the other way with Jabari Greer......TOUCHDOWN....KILLER TOUCHDOWN for the saints!!!"

Did anyone on defense at least try to put up a fight yesterday?
