Payton needs to bring PT in slowly. He hasn't played in so long it's almost like Bush, another season.

Gotta start him off slowly.

Let him get about 10 touches or so and hope dude is able to be ready for the Ravens. I wouldn't mind seeing him go up to 20 touches, but since he has been out for so long I would be concerned he is going to be fumble prone.

With Ivory playing lights out.Payton can afford to work him in slowly.Bush has got a game under his belt so there's no need to rush PT.

I think I would work him into the Rams game on the second drive. All he would work all the blocking and running and screens on that drive. Then if it's outta hand I would work him in some more maybe 15 carries and a couple of screens. Betts would have to go once he has recovered from injury. Haven't seen Julius in a minute either.

Betts is done for the year injured reserve. As for Jones we haven't really needed him with Ivory carrying the rock the way he has.

It's not broken, so don't fix it. Run Ivory and Reggie. use Pt when need ease him back into the line up.

Maybe work PT back in enough (give him enough carries up the gut) to try one or two screens to him to the right side. We have REALLY missed that part of our offensive attack.
