What's the best record for a wildcard?

I remember when the Saints went in as a Wild Card at 12-3 in '87. Has there ever been a 13-3 WC team?

Broncos won a SB as a 13-3 wildcard.

I think it's the 1999 Tennessee Titans, they got in as a wild card with a 13-3 record.

Somewhere I saw that the Colts were 12-4 in 2008 as a wild card, and had to travel to 8-8 San Diego in the playoffs. I wonder if that's the biggest ever record advantage of a wild card team over a division champ.

The Saints 13 - 3

The teams that came in as really strong record, 12+ win wild cards like that, Broncos, 2000 Ravens, 1999 Titans, they tend to do really WELL in the playoffs. Even on the road. So there ain't no shame in my game when it comes to wild cards!

Also Gregg Williams was the D coordinator of that Titans team that went to the Super Bowl as a wild card and then lost by only a yard on the final offensive play. Which I know an L is an L, but I mean, come on, they had nothing to be ashamed of. One yard, and if our Super Bowl came down to the same final play, Reggie would fly through the air over the tackler's head like a ninja and we'd win.
