With a straight face, Harper said he thought it would have been unsportsmanlike to run up the score (although the fumble was overruled on a Rams challenge anyway), but his teammates had a hard time containing their laughter after the victory.
Some national analysts have given Harper a hard time over his move and his prematurely gray hair, but he said he remains bloodied but unbowed by their slings and arrows.
"The women love it - Deion Sanders, he has no idea," Harper joked. "Who said something else? Cris Carter? He has no idea. Tell them to ask all the women in New Orleans. Tell Deion he done lost all his hair since he quit playing and his beard is gray."
Still, Harper, who is having a season Payton and Saints players believe deserves a trip to the Pro Bowl, said he relishes the rare spotlight.
"Actually, I love the attention," he said. "It's more attention I've got in five years off one play."

Pro Bowl for Harper! (but clearly he won't go since he will be in Texas for XLV) I love his gray as well and we all know women love a good sense of humor
