Injury report- Roby cleared to return; results on Greer's knee negative
 

New Orleans Saints kick returner and special teams standout Courtney Roby was cleared by independent doctors to return to the playing field, Payton said.

Roby missed Sunday's loss after suffering a concussion against the visiting Rams on Dec. 12.
Now that Roby, who was carted off the field at the Superdome and spent a night at Ochsner Hospital, has been cleared by an independent physician, his return to the lineup is in the hands of the Saints' team doctors.
The NFL has a strict policy regarding concussions, demanding that the injured players get clearance from inside and outside the team's medical staff.
"He has done that and cleared," Payton said of Roby's evaluation by the independent doctors.
INJURY UPDATE: Payton said tests on the left knee of cornerback Jabari Greer all came back negative.
Greer left Sunday's game in the second quarter and didn't return.
"The test results we got have all been negative, so we'll just see where he's at," Payton said.


Also says looking for a return of Ivory and Hargrove.

Hope Greer is okay, I wanna see Pat Robinson activated, he's been inactive since playing against Dallas.

New Orleans Saints kick returner and special teams standout Courtney Roby has been cleared by independent doctors to return to the playing field, Saints Coach Sean Payton said.

Roby missed Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens after suffering a concussion against the St. Louis Rams on Dec. 12.

Now that Roby, who was carted off the field at the Superdome and spent a night at Ochsner Hospital, has been cleared by an independent physician, his ultimate return to the lineup is in the hands of the Saints' team doctors.

Merry Christmas!

I see the Falcons getting a whooping. The front seven just needs to get tough on Turner and close the lanes and dare Ryan to beat 'em in the air.

Ivory, Hargrove and maybe even Roby's return will help us immensely..!

Every able body that is put back in action is a plus for us. Greer has been a bit loose this season but he is still the best at that corner. I hope he can get it worked out for the home stretch. Roby and Hargrove would also help our efforts.

Favre and Minnesota just proved that OUT can be START in 12 hours... LOL

For some reason i didn't think players were even allowed to be Upgraded from the Status OUT, before games lol
