REMEBER WHEN THE SAINTS....

Remember when The Saints struggled years ago and now we are in the running for another Super Bowl hunt. Watched Carolina vs Pittsburgh last night and watched a hapless team going nowhere. Looking at Carolina makes me appreciate where we came from and how hard it is to keep up the competitive level of play with player injuries and changes. Hard to believe how The Panthers rose and fell so fast.

I remember those days like it happened yesterday and I don't ever want to go back.

It just goes to show you that this is a QB league ... When Brees leaves -- sure as hell hope we have someone GREAT to replace him, or we'll be joining those lower ranks again ...

God bless the New Orleans Saints and the Who Dat Nation.. This is a great ball club and a great fan-base..

We've been through hell to hell freezing over.. Only in New Orleans something so awful could survive this long and become the epitome of what something should be.

I love how other teams are now copying our style (Failcons) and trying to use it to their advantage, if we didn't have our best Backs out for months at a time man, where would be standing at right now?!

No way! Terrelle Pryor is not pro material. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Not much in Payton's offensive scheme.

As a kid it was just short of a miracle if LSU and the Saints won on the same weekend. I remember when Billy Joe Tolliver finally won a game and declared "these are good times". He was right too.

Sean Payton likes cerebral QB's.

Too early to start thinking about the next QB for the Saints. Brees should be able to roll many more seasons. Right now the Saints are fine with Chase Daniel as the backup QB.

That counts out Pryor.

I'm NOT a fan of running QBs. Pryer, Newton, no thanks.... how many running QBs have won superbowl rings again? Its all about pocket passers.

I saw exactly what you felt, gave me shivers of years past. Guest we should be happy with what we have. Good post man.
