The reigning Super Bowl champions aren't interested in "backing their way in" to the postseason. They'd rather kick down the front door and make their presence felt, starting with a convincing victory tonight at Atlanta.

"We want to take care of business. We want to control our own destiny," Saints quarterback Drew Brees said earlier in the week. "I haven't even thought about (the possibility of clinching Sunday) because I want to win this game.
"It's not going to affect our mindset in any way. Because this is a pride game more than anything."

The Saints (10-4) would love nothing more than to secure a playoff berth tonight with a victory over their oldest rival on the national "Monday Night Football" stage.
