Worried....nah I never lost faith

I'm not kidding. Tonight after Drew's second pick, I didn't even get pissed. I watched Drew tackle him. Then looked at the disappointed room of family and friends and said, "I'm not worried. The defense will stop them and Drew will make them pay for not capitalizing". He did.

It's a great time to be a Saints fan. I have so much faith in Drew Brees, I didn't even worry once that he wasn't going to bring them back for a TD. I knew he would because the man is a competitor and a soldier.

I remember very fews years that I felt calm in the face of adversity. I knew that Drew and the offense would pull through on this one.

Great game by the man who spent most of the game running for his life. What a badass.

And the defense was LIGHTS OUT tonight!!! Wow!

I know what you mean; not once did I ever question when the D was coming back on the field. Maybe the best I've ever seen them play...

And Drew is a true competitor; two back-to-back picks and he comes out and plays like they never happened.

100% agree...same feelings here. gotta love the best competitor in football, drew brees.

When I saw Brees yelling after Colston couldn't pull down a 3rd down pass I saw frustration that I have never seen Brees display. I just thought, hey, he's human and will recover. Then, after he made the tackle you just sensed if he gets another shot the game is over. He came back and delivered the goods. That is the mark of a champion through and through.

I said "good tackle Drew". The Saints D sure looked good tonight for the most part. They held the infamous Atlanta running back to less than fifty yards.

Two Dat.

Faith, since day one.

i didnt think it was that bad - and neither did the bar.

it wasnt like we were all cryig out - "ROOKIE MISTAKE"

I mean he was trying to maka a play. see it on repeat.
sh*t i am getting hit - oh look - there is... opps shouldnt - have done that.

Brees frustration at Colston was felt by all of us and then his "oops shouldn't have done that look"(exiled), just re-energized him to come back strong. Knew the defense wasn't going to let anything else bad happen. Brees IS what 99.99% of all the other quaterbacks long to be. The rest, well, they are commentators.

Its testament to how good Brees really is that he is able to Overcome a mistake that he knew he should never had made, Yeah it was frustrating and at that moment i wanted to kick my new TV in after seeing it BUT
Brees shows the what he is all about, redemption and coming back stronger!!!
Love ya brees man

It's a performance like that - when you have the whole world on your shoulders and you come through - that makes me livid when I head the talking heads start talking about Ryan being as good or even better than Drew.

Ryan needs weapons. Drew IS the weapon, and that's the difference.
