Are we really heaping praise on an 8 million dollar RB because he blocked a blitzing LB right in front of him?

And what about the other two players? What did he do to them?

I'm not saying he's worth it. But the 8 mil thing is the last resort of Reggie shunners. Looking at college, who wouldn't have signed him to that.

So if he's triple teamed on every play, and the other team blitzes, that leaves only 3 defenders to cover Moore, Colston, Meachem, Evans and Graham.

Thats at least two players left totally uncovered on every play. Dayum, no wonder Brees is so awesome. :p

He's not exactly triple teams. ALTHOUGH, 3-4 players will shift to Reggie's side. This let's Brees know coverage, and gives leverage to the WR. Imo, Brees has deeper throws with Bush out there.

You tell us which plays did they not have three guys watching Reggie.

I'll go back and watch game film tonight, and proceed to read their minds thru their helmets.

If a guy is triple teamed on every play, you can usually see three defenders on the guy. Thats not difficult to see. You don't need to read minds to see that. And conversely, how do you know they're triple teaming him? Are you reading their minds?

Did you mean to say he draws a triple team in defenders minds? Kinda like a previous player who owned defenders with his eyes?

The Reggie exaggerations are getting a bit out of hand. He's a decent scat-back, and teams pay attention to scat-backs who go in motion. Reggie isn't any different. This triple teamed on every play is nonsense.

so... would that be the 3 guys who usually tackle him?

I've gradutated from SR. Im not doing that silly back and forth thing.

you can have the last word.

I sense a thread that is soon to die...

So now if 3 guys swarm a player after he catches the ball, thats triple teamed?

I thought that was simply a defense swarming to the ball.

And what does being an SR grad have to do with triple teaming Reggie Bush?

BTW: Did you guys notice PT was triple teamed all game as well?

Like I said. 15 yard average when he's in, 5 when he's out. That's worth several million right there. I was a Reggie doubted until I read that stat.

I can't speak to pt's game yesterday, but I have yet to see him play with anything less than a lion's heart.

Bout sums it up right there.

I'd like to see that stat. I'm curious about that, especially since we average more points with him out of the line-up than in the line-up (but that was earlier this year).

If he truly adds 10 yards per play merely by being in the game he's 10 times more valuable than Drew Bress could ever be.

Most big name QB's make there mojo happen when they decode the defense. Putting Bush in motion does it more than any other RB.
