Clearly this kid is going to be awesome. I just wanted to point out that the first nine games he had 8 catches, and I think one td. I believe he has 3 td's and 21 catches the last 6.

Totally Agree, been high on this kid since i first saw some tape of him from college and Training camp.
As you pointed out 21 catches 3 TD's in the last 6 games, Coach Payton and Drew are calling his number alot more, they understand hes going to be a big part of the offense. The guy is a rookie, and i mentioned last week that it looks as though (if not now, very soon) that he can take over from shockey as the starter.

It is very clear that the job is his...he is still in the grooming phase but he has talent. The playoffs will go a long way in helping him to mature. I for one am glad he chose football over basketball.

I think Shockey is still on the team next year. It does make it extremely hard for Dave Thomas to get on the field. Still, I see us keeping 3 TEs next year.
