I always thought if they redid the A-team, Rickey would be a perfect

Rickey is too tough for that part besides, he don't have a problem with planes.

Colston has hands of stone lately...

(DidIjustsaythatorthinkit...)

I did a rewatch last night of the Falcons game and Meachem was ON FIRE. Just didn't see that the first time for some reason.

I will miss Colston if he misses a week or two, but it's already been written, fellas...

RE-PEAT!

Colston usually does not drop many passes, this year he must really be hurting. Good thing to get the surgery out of the way and get going for the playoffs. The Saints should be fine without him for the short term. The biggest problem with him going down is it puts the Saints in a bad spot if someone else goes down too.

Danno 12-30-2010 05:33 PM

Colston has always been near the top of the league in drops. He usually makes it up with a catch that few WR's in the league can catch.

Its nothing new, he drops more passes than he should, but catches more than most.

Inconsistent hands

While he does have his share of drops, quite a few are usually jarred loose due to Brees' tendency to lead him into safeties. He operates a lot in the middle and takes his share of big hits.

Well officially that would not be considered a drop.

Coltson hears footsteps.

No, but those back shoulder and high throws that he can just get his hands on do qualify. Brees knows he can catch a ball where few in the league can. He continuously presses those limits. That will results in more drops than the less trusted receiver that needs it in the bread basket.

They'll just juice the knee before the game and he'll be fine. I might sit him out the first quarter and if we're ahead by a couple of TD's maybe the entire game, just in case.
