With the playoffs less than two weeks away, the Eagles have tweaked their roster, dumping one veteran defensive end and adding another.

Gone is Derrick Burgess, who made his only appearance of the year on Tuesday night against the Vikings. After four years in Philly, Burgess joined the Raiders in 2005 and racked up 16 sacks. The following year, Burgess scored 11, but he never again returned to double digits.

Joining the team is veteran defensive end Bobby McCray. McCray won a Super Bowl with the Saints last year. Cut by the Saints in the offseason and then re-signed, McCray was cut again and he has appeared in no regular-season games this year.
