Chris Ivory on Crutches and in a Boot - Per CBS Sports

Jan. 03, 2011 3:51 p.m. - RB Chris Ivory was spotted during the open locker room period on crutches and with his foot in a walking boot. Ivory sustained a foot injury during Sunday's loss vs. Tampa Bay. His problems were not addressed by coach Sean Payton during his press conference on Monday.

Hopefully it's a ploy. But I doubt it. Man this sux, Freaking Ivory is soooo good, but way to damn injury-prone!!!!!!!!!!

Ivory makes a difference. Hopefully its to promote healing and a quicker return. Reggie and PT can get it done though. Bush looked a lot better turning it up the field and getting what he could get yesterday. He tightened it up last post season. PT also looks like he's getting his feet back under him. If Ivory can't go, I think we'll be alright.

Have you seen this guy? He's all muscle. I'm no expert but I don't think strength and conditioning are his problem.

Not just him but it has been all our RB's. This season. Last year it was our secondary.

No not strength and conditioning he needs to be coached on how to run hard and avoid injury, there are various techniques that can be taught on how to land on the ground, how to protect yourself in pile-up's, etc, I've watched Ivory run and he kinda just slams himself into the line and bust out but he run's very loosely, when he gets tackled he most likely has a bad stance that is causing injury when he tries to push for them extra yards with 5 guys pushing back at him, but thats gotta be up to Sean Payton to get him to seek that type of help.

Some people have too much muscle for their skeleton structure. This leads to these type of injuries.
