The Saints have signed running back Joique Bell to their 53-man active roster from the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, according to a report by Adam Caplan of Foxsports.com.

The team is expected to make the announcement official when head coach Sean Payton conducts his regular post-practice press conference around 2:45 p.m.

Bell was unavailable for comment but a message -- "On the Airplane to (my) nxt (sic) destination..." was posted to his Twitter account earlier this morning.

Not looking good. Jeff Duncan is saying that PT might have been placed on IR but it hasn't been confirmed.

i don't think pt was going to play anyway against seattle. but if its true that may put a kink in the armour. they did'nt announce nothing yet though.

Well here is Bell's preseason stats. Not too bad but it is all on Drew now.

I hope this guy has some game in him. If the rain and snow comes as predicted, then the run game will become even more important.

sounds like the eagles secrert weapon is a saint now. that will teach them a lesson for taking pj hill from our practice squad last year.
