anticipating something

my father told me to keep my friends close, and my enemies closer..im here to see what the opponent is thinking, what makes a WHO DAT fan tick ? and
why they think the team will beat my Hawks..lol, fun times, not sure what the heck will happen saturday. I do know that the Hawks are healthy and ready to play, not real proud of our record, but we are here nonetheless..may the best team win

I'm thinking we win... and winning makes us tick... and the reason we will win is because we have a better team than you do...

cajun911 01-07-2011 06:57 AM

I'm not trying to be arrogant but I think we are the better team, few people would argue that. However you are the healthier team and playing at home in the weather. So I think it could be a tighter game than a lot of people think. I go into every game with a certain level of concern, I never get too over confident. I do think will we pull out a win against the seachickens though.

spkb25 01-07-2011 07:37 AM

We are without doubt the much better team, that said, you guys will be motivated. If you hang in this could go either way. You never know from one week to the next. Your record doesn't matte at this point. You made it to the show. you have a shot. You guys are home. I hope we get up early or it could get very interesting. Good Luck man, but I hope we send ya home. i don't think it is an easy win by any means.

Why do these other fans come on our site and talk s&*t I know it friendly he's not saying to much s*&t but the seagulls and falcants keep talking stuff ya'll haven't won anything and I take every game serious but truthfully we should end this game in the first half.

foreverfan 01-07-2011 08:30 AM

I predict that Seahawk fans will waste their money this Saturday... again.

Talons, welcome aboard. I didn't take your post as smack talk but I do think you state the obvious and so I'll ask - How do you think the Saints (significant) injuries will affect them vs. the Seahawks defense or home-field advantage?

I see you are fairly new here. We welcome fans from other teams here. That's one thing that makes this site so special. I am a member of dozens of forums all across the league and see other members from teams not belonging to that board all the time. The best forums are a place to exchange information, a place to learn about the other teams, as well as your own.

The thread owner did not talk any "s*&t" and should be as respected as any other member.

saintfan 01-07-2011 11:31 AM

Welcome to the best SAINTS site there has ever been. I don't envy your team's challenge. I think it's pretty clear the Saints are the better team, but we have been the victim of "any given Sunday" no doubt.

You guys will have to overachieve AND we'd have to really lay a stinker for the game to turn out in your favor.

Speedy Ron 01-07-2011 12:06 PM

1. Drew Brees > Hasselbeck
2. Payton > Carroll
3. Our D > Your O
4. Drew Brees vs your D = Joke

ClintSaints 01-07-2011 12:19 PM

My point of view is that the regular season record is completely and totally irrelevant at this point. Look what the 8-8 Chargers did to the 11-5 Colts a couple of years ago. The Saints cannot afford to take anything for granted and I know Sean Payton realizes this. The Seahawks defense put together an amazing game last week and Drew Brees is simply going to have to outplay Matt Hasslebeck. Having said that, I feel that the Saints defense will be the deciding factor and I feel they are simply better than the Seahawks defense overall. I don't believe that the Seahawks secondary will be able to keep pace with the sheer volume of great receivers that the Saints have.

Talons 01-07-2011 12:52 PM

tks for your replies,..i am not here to talk trash at all..just having some fun in the saints forum..the hawks will have to overachieve,..its these types of games that will keep us all guessing. The weather in seattle will be cold with possible rain, snow showers. The seahawk faithful will be very loud, with Ivory out among others..i think that this may be alot closer than the "experts" think. Ol' Matt will have to really put something together,...think big Mike Williams, combination of Lynch/Forcett..im hoping..Goodluck and may the Saints smile down on the Hawks tomorrow

Talons 01-07-2011 12:53 PM

and i really like speedy ron's avatar

cajun911 01-07-2011 12:55 PM

I don't have a problem with other team's fans coming here as long as there not d*cks. Just don't come here talkin sh*t like failcon fans.

Talons 01-07-2011 12:59 PM

Haha, I hear ya. Just go and enjoy the playoffs like I'm sure we all will. So what's on the playoff menu up in Seattle, clam chowder or salmon? I think we're going to cook us a jambalaya tomorrow.

Talons 01-07-2011 01:08 PM

the football kinda sucks here in Seattle, but the food is excellent

SeahawksFan 01-07-2011 01:20 PM

Just remember, this also means I can't even have any Dungeness crab!

But at least I can eat salmon!

lumm0x 01-07-2011 07:54 PM

Even with the injuries we are a much more talented squad. The injuries concern me only because our diverse personnel groupings are a big part of our unpredictability on offense. It forces us to win the individual matchups and takes away alot of Payton's ability to simply out coach a defensive coordinator (he's turned a few in knots trying to figure out what we are about to do only to get burned).

I don't think their defense can contain us, run game or not. We need some secondary guys to step up this weekend. Big Mike Williams will be a test. Greer and Porter haven't been overwhelming yet this year. Forsett is the offensive player that scares me. Vilma and Harper getting to the edges will be key.

"You are what your record says you are..."

Seahawks 7-9, that is all I got to say about that.

I think the best salmon fishery in Washington is going to be Elwha River. About ten years after the dams come out.

Looking forward to those monster-sized Oncorhynchus tshawytscha!

:)

Euphoria 01-08-2011 11:33 AM

Our injuries don't bother me at all... in fact they actually help play into our favor. We'd be force to pass even more... our strenght. yeeeeaaahh.

Why waste time just open it up and put the pedal to the metal.

Every game we lost this past year is when either PT or CI was in the game. When they both played in the same game we were 0-1.

Nah. CI was in 12 games. PT was in 6 games.

Do you mean started?
