We need both but if Ingram is there we should go for it. We have found some good ones but they just don't hold up. PT and Ivory, their injuries were well documented before they played for the Saints and Reggie, I won't even start. We need a proven back and playing in the SEC with success is a good measuring stick.

i agree with all. so much more needs than rb.i have gotten caught up in the we need rb circa myself but look at the big screen and see we will be all right. this debacle of injuries can't happen twice. if we had a spec. speed rusher that could have come in on the 3rd down and put an iota of wiff on hasselbek we would be getting ready for the cubs. not worried about rb like you said rugby.we have rbs just no luck at all with them. we'll be cutting rbs next year probably starting with bush if he don't take cut in salary. AA will finally get his shot along with junior gallette. go strato.

thats the fact jack!!!!!

Well, hopefully that changes. We have a window to keep going to the playoffs with our core team, our core team is awesome. We need to get the right pieces for a Super Bowl run NEXT YEAR.

We need O-Line, we need an OLB, we need D-Line, we need a RB that can both take and dish out a pounding, and if we can find a REALLY fast guy with REALLY good hands, jump on it.

We need Running Back or Defensive Tackle/End in the first round...

so we'll probably take a Right Tackle or Wide Receiver...

Here's the thing, Coach Payton is not a "I gotta have this guy for my system" coach; he builds the system with the guys he has...

That's why the man has won a Superbowl instead of waiting for all the right pieces...

I know Junyah had a back injury for a good bit of this past season. They must of had him maxing that iron day in and day out!He had some QB hurries and was pretty much the cause of a sack in the TB game if I remember right. He don't let up either!RELENTLESS!

I say we draft a solid rb or lb such as...
Mark Ingram or Casey Matthews if available.
Casey was all over the place in the BCS game, and almost won it for Oregon with that FF, if only cam newton(michael dyer) hadn't made plays late in the 4th.

I'll look in on the playoff games, but I'm already waiting for McShay & Kiper to offer their "insight" on the next "guy"...

Saints didn't get much for Jammal Brown, but at least it's a high third (3) round pick...
