Why in the world did they have Hartley do it when Morstead was the one who kicked it in the SB last year? That just boggles my mind.

Morestead is battling an injury ... didn't you notice that Hartley started kicking off as well? We were injured all around ... No excuses though --- that game shouldn't have even been close enough to warrant an on-side kick regardless of who was doing it!

I was wondering if that was the reason. After getting hit on our first punt of the game.

I still call BS:nono: on that Morestead hit. Pushed into him, thrown into him, doesn't make a difference. It was wrong and he was hurt. But I still believe that Hartley could do an onside kick. Don't we remember all those easy field goals he has missed this year? Kick it to the left like he does so well...

No excuses huh? That's all I've seen from ya'll about this loss, whining about injuries and the like. Really just the Aints living up to their namesake.

Hate to say it, but I don't ever remember seeing an onside kick that bad, except in video games.

How's it feel for our defense who gave up 41 points to the 'Hawks yesterday completely dominate your offense in week 14? And if you don't remember: Turner had 17 carries for 48 yards, Ryan had 148 yards and Fraud White was held to 43 yards on 3 catches and the only offensive TD. In your house where y'all could not lose, might I add.

Well we already beat the Hawks once(in their dome even, a feat ya'll couldn't accomplish) so when they come to our house I'm not worried. You can keep clinging onto that meaningless week 14 win though cuz were still the NFC south champs and oh yeah were still alive in the playoffs.

We have one of these; y'all ain't proven nothing yet...

The above post sure sounds like you're acting like your trying to be somebody. We won it last year 1-0 in the Super-Bowl; Falcants are 0-1 in the Super-Bowl and haven't even played a play-off game yet this year. Come back when you have a ring you can compare with ours.

Falcons fans are just doing what they can to make themselves feel better about being embarrassed in their only Super Bowl appearance. And even if they do make it to the dance this year (which I highly doubt) they will get trounced by Pittsburgh or New England to prove how their classless fans and media are completely overrating their classless home team.

Back on topic, a friend of mine actually said "Hartley sucks" after the onside kick like he was to blame for that loss. I had to set them in their place really quick. The defense should be embarrassed for that performance. They let Hasselbeck have the best game he's had since their last Super Bowl season. The onside kick was just a minor gaffe. The odds of recovering one when it is expected is extremely low anyways.
