Who do you want to coach Special Teams?

Greg McMahon has most likely already gotten his walking papers. Should we look to hire somebody from the college ranks or go after somebody in the pros with a proven resume? Who do you think is the best candidate? Who do you want to coach Special Teams?

I love the Jets special teams coach from watching hard knocks this pre-season. I don't know how they did overall really ST this year but I loved the way he coached. I know he won't be available but just saying. I like the guy.

Anybody else different than who we have now.

Greg McMahon has done a great job with the ST since coming to New Orleans. Only coach to have kicking and return units in the top 10. He brought in Hartley, Morestead, Roby, etc...

I think injuries affected our ST this season more than anything. They'll be back to strength next season.

He's Payton's boy from his Illinois days too - don't forget that.

Find where Bobby April coaches, see what he makes and then triple it, that will do the trick

Gruden would be nice...

RaginCajun83 01-11-2011 07:05 PM

What does Gruden know about special teams? Gruden could always come in as offensive coordinator

Are you kidding? Gruden would make a great special teams coach. He'd light a fire under some asses you can bet...

I don't know any special teams coaches either which is why I asked. I'm looking for people that I can research. Bobby April sounds like a good place to start. I know the name but I can't remember what his back ground is.

u can bring in elvis it won't matter unless u have better players with heart and soul thats willing to take a toll. its the most underpaid underappreciated positions in the sport having to give up your body to vicious poundings. st by st
