It wasn't so much Harper got burnt but the fact he just blew his assignments.
All through out the season you can see his age catching up with him.

Welcome to retirement.

Also I think we should have a rule on this forum... NO ONE ALLOWED TO QUESTION PAYTON"S CALLS for at least 2 years. No one in their right mind calls an onside kick to start a half in the freakin' SB. Reverses in the red zone. His mind doesn't work like most people so he gets a pass for that at least.

Anyone who questions Paytons play calls loses credibility in my opinion

Extremely painful DVR experience. I actually had to stop it and sit quietly a few times to gather myself up, then I'd start watching again.

What was most painful was the first quarter, you know why? BECAUSE WE WERE RUNNING ON ALL CYLINDERS AND HAD IT WON.
First drive near flawless, then Hartley bangs a perfect center kick.
'Hawks get the ball and BAAM, a Greer I N T that had Saints defense written all over it.
Second drive. Flawless. Touchdown.

I was there but about half drunk from partying with Saints fans I had never seen before in my life who all came together like a freakin' family reunion right in the heart of Seattle and only blocks from the game in which we were about to advance to the second round of the playoffs as soon as we do away with this sorry-ass team with a losing record!

I remember turning to a 'Hawks fan with his hands on his head after our second touchdown and I said plolitely, "Sorry, bro, but the Saints are in town."

He later made me feel absolutely like crying as the second half imploded.

The look on Jones' face as he temper-stormed back to the sideline after his second KEY fumble in TWO WEEKS...

I probably took a full year off my life for watching that again.

Don't do it if you haven't done it.

This was the only loss I've re-watched all season. It hurts more now than ever. The most disturbing thing besides Harper, is watching all the points we left on the field. We can't settle for FG's 3 times inside the five yard-line. That's 12 points plus the failed 2 point conversion. The Falcons have to lose soon or I'm gonna drink myself to death.

Can't watch it without a better medical insurance policy. You know what the freaking cost of Psychotherapy is today. Watching that game again would be like purposely driving drunk through a DUI roadblock.

Hasselbeck was on fire. He is a good QB with declining ability but I have never seen him play so out of his mind. The receivers for Seattle dropped a number of easy passes also.

What the hell is wrong with you!? Don't you know you're not supposed to point out how THEY won it but how WE lost it!!! LOL!
But I got your back... Hasselbeck played way above his ability. Just this one time. LOL

...as winter drags on up here... Good to see some of you down in the lower 49 are getting some also! Something to be said for 4 seasons, you know!
