Maybe that has something to do w/ why Hartley attempted the on-sides kick Saturday??

Danno 01-12-2011 03:50 PM

Oh gawd, did it cost us a extra draft pick?

dizzle88 01-12-2011 03:53 PM

Well he got taken out on a punt (by the way, did the seahawks get a roughing the kicker penalty - no ofcourse they didn't)

After that i didn't see him come back, so i think it was after that. Least hes got the offseason to recover.

Sure hope he does not have to raise his arms to catch a high snap! LOLOLOLOLOL

Well he has the best person on the team to tell him how to rehab it in
Drew.

i can't remember which game it was but he got shellacked on a kick off return where he made the tackle and his shoulder got bent back bad. there i think where he really injured it. and reinjured it on the non roughing call.

SaintsBro 01-13-2011 02:23 PM

It all started when he got clocked trying to make a tackle in the first punt of the first preseason game, against the Patriots. Due to our lousy special teams punt coverage, he was the only guy left to make the play and he got creamed and hurt, in a meaningless game. I would not be surprised if he has been dinged up all year, and kept re-aggravating it. That was why Hartley did a lot of the kicking off.

I know he was batteling a groin injury for a big part of the season too. Morstead is good for us and I think and hope he will be back at full strength for us next year.

That was the Tampa @ New Orleans game at the end of the season; I think we were disappointed that the Saints were pulling back so we left shortly thereafter...
