I've got two questions that I'd like to get member reactions to. Please post your answers, and don't go ranting and raving, just give your answer, PLEASE.

1. What do you think the Saints need to do this season for Haslett to DESERVE to keep his job?
A. Nothing, he's done a good job already.
B. A winning season.
C. Make the playoffs.
D. Win the Super Bowl.

2. What should the Saints do at QB?
A. Nothing. Brooks is solid and will only get better.
B. At least find one alternative and let him develop to eventually replace Brooks.
C. Go get someone in the draft or free agency and have an open QB competition right now.
D. Go find someone else to start now and try to deal Brooks away.

C. This club has only gotten better in the talent department and the record keeps going south.

B. Brooks has not been so bad that we need to find an immediate replacement; however, I don\'t think he will progress much more and I don\'t think we should settle on him when there is a possibility we can develop someone into a better QB. Now I will say this that if Eli Manning would somehow slip to us in the draft . . . even in the first round I think we would have to think about taking him. Now I know he hasn\'t put up AMAZING numbers. His numbers are solid but he is basically playing with a team that was holding him back in some ways. If he has near the potential of Peyton you just have at least consider taking him. Other than him I\'m not too certain about the crop of QB\'s this year. I\'m not even entirely sold on Eli. I\'m not sure there really any Franchise QB\'s out there. I would really like to see us do the same thing the Jets did with Pennington. Draft a guy, let him sit 2 years and then play him. I\'m still wishing we would have made a move to draft Pennington that year. anyways I\'m ranting. Bottom line Brooks is a good enough starter that we just can\'t all out replace, but we can definately look to upgrade for the future. A rookie QB starting next year would only set us back and if we are going to make a change at QB in the future, I don\'t want a veteran getting short on his years. I want a young QB that we can develop into our franchise QB

Chose B cause I\'m not a big fan of spending a 1st round pick on a QB, I\'d prefer to grab a guy in the later rounds, and give him a few years to develop, ala Tim Rattay.
I also think that our feelings are not shared by those in the organization. Haslett will be here another year at least, and Brooks will be the future QB for a while.

The waiting drove me mad....
I don't want to hear from those that know...
Everything has changed, absolutely nothing's changed

Eddie is a....draftnik?

The organization has a lot more concerns than at QB. They need to be explored first.
