Sick

I am more sick now over the Saints loss last week than I was then!!

Even with all the injuries to RB, the Saints should have beaten the Seachickens!

May not have been able to get by the cubs without a strong running game, but we would have done more than Seattle!!

Can't wait to watch the Packers/falcants game on NFL Rewind!!

Sinner 01-16-2011 03:14 PM

oh god... and as I write this... even after last night, that falcon bus commercial is STILL running!

Okay. 656... you are right. the score today in Chicago SHOULD have been the score of our game. OUR DEFENSE DID NOT SHOW UP. We gotta move on... and the coaches had better look at that film... a LOT.

CheramieIII 01-16-2011 03:28 PM

That damn team beat us? 7-9 and didn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Commish you need to fix that so it never happens again.

RailBoss 01-16-2011 04:29 PM

Yeah we should have beat The Seahawks even without any RB's. But that freaking Chicago field in the snow would have been a replay for us. I still think when an NFL team builds a new stadium they should be required to install a roof or a dome. This way no matter what part of the country you are in you always have a neutral field. I would hate to be a fan in Chicago paying all that money to sit in the stadium and freeze to death. After all there is only so much alcohol you can carry in.

Guys, hype has a way of swinging alot of things for teams. NO ONE picked Seattle to win against us, and the entire sports media made fun of them, for even being there. Their superbowl, was last week, and they knew it. You put that game in our house, which is where it SHOULD have been anyway, because of record, and we smoke the seahawks.

No excuse about the "house" saintpaul. Jets are in Pats' house and it's a different story so far.

saintsfan1976 01-16-2011 06:02 PM

We limped into Seattle and still probably overlooked them.

RailBoss 01-16-2011 08:46 PM

No house excuse in Seattle the weather held up and was a non factor. The weather in Chicago however is in the teens and the field is like a hockey rink. From what I have seen Who Dats don't like The Tundra. No worries though we won't be going there.

WhoDat!656 01-16-2011 11:02 PM

Saints were the only road team to lose that week.

breesfan27 01-16-2011 11:51 PM

I know I'm the minority here, but Seattle deserved to get where they were. They beat us fair and square. Sure, we can all get mad and say they didn't deserve to be in the playoffs, but they did. They won their division. We played like garbage and completely underestimated them. No excuses, they were the better team.

True Dat.

SaintPauly 01-17-2011 01:16 AM

Not saying they didn't deserve to win. Saying that if you kick a dog enough times, as long as it has teeth, it WILL get up and bite you on the ass. Seattle won a weak division with a 7-9 record. W/L records should be first and foremost, when lining up the play offs, PERIOD. I agree on the road records, and homefield not really meaning much anymore, but let's not forget what we did with HFA last year....

breesfan27 01-18-2011 03:13 AM

I do agree they should not have hosted a playoff game. Why should you be rewarded with a home game when you barely won your division?

Luda34 01-18-2011 06:34 AM

Guys we have to get over this we lose we shouldn't have lose but the games over the Falcons lose so we have something to cheer about. That lose may just make the team better I don't know how but just maybe lets move on and look forward to draft and signing free agents.

skymike 01-18-2011 04:18 PM

we could be hosting the Packers in the Dome.

talk about "taking care of business."

No, Im the minority around here.

I agree. The object of sports is to win. If you win, you won. There's no crying.

The best team doesn't always win.
