Gentlemen, bow your heads in shame. You talk about Mississippi athletes in a Saints forum and neglect to mention Archie Manning?

-Rep for you both, and you must both repent and say 20 "Hail Archies" each.

lynwood 01-21-2011 07:02 PM

Please come to Texas

Understandable. We try to hide Bay St. Louis from the rest of the world...and if anyone happens to stumble upon it we tell them it's Louisiana. j/k :)

Turbo Saint 01-22-2011 01:21 AM

hahahah i hear ya, but it's the first exit :P

Mardigras9 01-23-2011 10:15 AM

Hope it passes in the Senate, MS has both Alabama colleges and LSU plates so shouldn't be a problem. I'll be first in line to get mine.

CheramieIII 01-23-2011 03:40 PM

Mississippi has always been SAINTS COUNTRY!

niteadept 01-23-2011 04:28 PM

breesfan27 01-23-2011 10:12 PM

My dad is a Mississippi resident. I'm gonna have to talk him into getting one and sending it to me!

I just want one to hang up in the Sports room.

That's what they tell me, and I believe it, from what
I've seen in person.

I remember in summer '06, after the Saints had finished a 3-13 season, we stopped at Milsaps for training camp. Everyone was excited about
the Saints returning, and about drafting Reggie, but realistically, nobody thought we were winning anything.

Here's a team that never won anything, went 3-13 the past season, and showed no real reason to expect anything. But there those MS people were, sitting faithfully on the sidelines, in the heat, watching practice, wearing Saints stuff, and cheering the players on. And I knew they had been fans for a long time, faithful, and I dont know why. We've never won crap, and here were these people that I could tell cared just as much as I do, and they dont even get any mention. I was super impressed with Mississippi folks.

I want to thank you, MS fans for helping to save my Saints. I know you had a hand in selling out the Dome, and I know you buy the merchandise and support the team, and you also support New Orleans.

If I owned the Saints, I've said this before: 1st, I'd make Milsaps our training camp home, at least every other year, (and rotate among NWLA, Lafayette, etc.). I'd play one preseason game a year at one of your colleges. And I'd bring the Louisiana patch back to the uniform on one sleave, and add a Mississippi patch to the other sleave.

Thank you Sapper, LB, Poydras, and all of our Mississippi brothers and sisters. You Dat.

poydras 01-24-2011 07:42 AM

Dang! And I just got my new tag. Now I have to wait a year!

Dont even go there. There's every kind of person you can imagine in Texas. Houston is every bit as diverse as NYC, and is a cultural capital second only to NYC, if you're into "culture" and all that crap.

I dont understand people who hate Texas, just like I dont understand people who hate Louisiana. Its just silly.

Too busy to hate.

I hate Atlanta, but anyone here can understand that! :p*bats eyelashes*

Memnoch_TP 02-01-2011 10:55 AM

Nope, can't understand that. I hate the Falcons, but I love Atlanta. I go there for vacation every Labor Day weekend. Always a blast. Even getting arrested in Atlanta is fun!
