Who dare question the healing powers of Drew Brees? This guy is an idiot

one of the stupidest things i have ever heard. how do you question it after the fact?!?!? what a loser. where was this article or this expertise opinion when he originally hurt it. like someone else said...they thought he wouldnt even been able to throw the ball again. and recover?!?!?! this happened months ago and he played the rest of the year and if we had a rb and our d show up in seattle we would be in the superbowl. with a one legged brees. the writer can take this article and shove it up their @$$.

Exactly. Everyone heals different. That shoulder injury would have ended many QB careers. You just never really know how someone's body will react. My arm was broke in half and elbow completley crushed in a suicide attack. Six months later the bones were completely healed and I was doing pushups.

Granted I did lose some minor dexterity but the doctors were amazed. I ate a very good diet and never missing PT but it's still uncommon for someoe to heal that quick. Not to get off on a tangent but one thing I have always noticed is that my nails grow fast and super hard even boefore the accident. NOt sure if that means anything but other than that wound I have never been inuried without a quick recovery.

CAN'T THANK-YOU ENOUGH BEAST FOR GIVING YOUR BODY UP FOR US TO BE SAFER, U DA MAN.

In theory the article is probably dead on. Where it loses credibility is this person is not Drew's doctor and really has no clue on what was going on. I can guarantee if Drew's doctor would have said to shut it down for a while, he would have done so. Obviously the situation with Drew wasn't very serious. He did take protective measures and wore a brace. With the Saints having probably another few years at a legitimate Super Bowl run, I don't believe anyone would have risked running him out on the field if there was a decent chance of this injury getting worse.

if anyone read drew's book, you get some insight on how the guy takes care of his body. one part of the book that really stood out to me was drew talking about food allergies. his nutritionist told him about food allergies that dont always show up. apparently we are all allergic to foods, but dont ever know about it or have any symptoms because our blood cells fight it off before anything can show. still while those cells are working to fight what we might have just eaten, they could have been working at other things in the body, like healing tissue or other injuries. who would think to get checked for such a thing? drew would.

moral of the story is no one should ever bet against that guy.
