Indianapolis -- NFL draft analysts seem to agree that this is the deepest class of premier defensive ends they can remember.

That's great news for the New Orleans Saints, who have the 24th pick in the first round and a glaring need for a young end on their roster. Although the Saints believe in the "best available player" theory in the draft, there appears to be a good chance that one or two of those ends could also wind up among the highest-rated players on their board.

"I've got eight or nine defensive ends with first-round grades," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said.

He carries a great legacy with him! Man I still can't believe his Dad died so young at age 39. But this kid has Iron in his blood and it could just work out for him here.

I think an OLB can be had with our 2nd pick, and maybe even 3rd pick too.

If we can get a stud DE at 24, I'll dance naked in my backyard, again.

I think everyone agrees the front 7 could use 2 or 3 more young playmakers.

Will isn't getting any younger and speed was his biggest assett. He's not gonna get any faster than he is now.

I'd love to see us get a DE, a DT, and two OLB's (or an OLB and another DE)in the 1st 3 rounds. That would be our rivals' worst nightmare.
