This hasn't gotten much notice, what with all the Saint Bashing going around but
THE SAINTS ARE 5-2 IN THEIR LAST 7 GAMES!

If it wasn't for admiited officiating blunders in one game we'd be 6-1 in our last 7, with our only loss being at Philly (the BEST team in the NFC). And we'd be in 1st place!

A 4 game win streak is looking more and more possible.

Deucember, I love it Tweeky. If anything can get us over our tradition of futility in the final month of the season thats it. His example of leadership, determination and excelence is what we need most. Deuce is the best reason to believe in this team there is.

It would be a dream come true. Saints fans deserve something like this to happen.

I agree that Deuce is the best chance the Saints have at turning around their recent December misfortunes. Deuce wasn\'t 100% last year and neither was AB. AB didn\'t appear TOO bothered by that knee last week with his two TD runs. This defense better learn how to stop the run, though. They have a habit of making average running backs look like pro-bowlers....(i.e. Trung Canidate). We still have to face two good running backs in Fred Taylor and Tiki Barber. Just because Tampa is awful this year, doesn\'t mean they are going to be a cake walk. They always seem to struggle against the Giants. Honestly, the team that I\'m least worried about on the remaining schedule is the Cowboys. They always seem to buck up against the Boys. Remember that pathetic 3-13 season back in the Ditka era when Delhomme started and threw 3 TD\'s? If i\'m not mistaken, the NFL\'s all-time leading rusher, Emmitt Smith, only rushed for about 11 yards that game. Playoffs are a possibility, but keep in mind........this is December.

I like that attitude tweeky. The Saints have been one of the hottest teams in the league over the last 7-games. But, by reading this board you would think that we haven\'t won a game in 2-months.

If we beat Tampa and Dallas loses, then you\'ll see a line forming for the bandwagon. I like our chances as much as anyones!!!

Just imagine if this team hadn\'t suffered an inordinate amount of injuries in the 1st few games. 10-6 might be a conservative estimate of our final tally.
Thats why I think this staff deserves (earned) another year, barring a total December collapse of course.

I\'m all about 5-2 in our last seven and the possibility of being on a four game win streak.

Record in December under Haslett: 3-9
And that 5-2 record has come against one of the weakest schedules in the league. Our opponents over those five wins combine to be 18-42 (.300). That\'s BAD.

Oh, to be a Saints fan! I feel ya, brother. Seems like the last couple of Decembers, deciding to hope our team will make the dance is kinda like jumping off a big rock into a river when you don\'t know exactly how deep it is. You just have to close your eyes and hold your breath.
