There's a reason that height is ideal.
Center of gravity is lower to the ground than a DE/DT/LB
Lower body strength/balance has more to do with breaking tackles than size
Taller RB's are typically easier to tackle
Taller RB's are typically long striders, and change of direction takes more time
There are exceptions of course, Dickerson, Peterson, even our own Deuce.
Mark Ingram is an Emmit Smith clone from top to bottom, although he may have even better stop & go change of direction skills than Emmit did.
If he stays healthy, he's gonna be a star.
