Pierre Thomas to be back by July? (Tweets)
 

RB Pierre Thomas told FB Heath Evans via Twitter that his surgically repaired ankle is feeling better every day and that Thomas will begin rehab in Pensacola, Fla. soon. GM Mickey Loomis said last week that Thomas could be back by the end of July.

God, if there'd only be training camp by then. Late summer and fall
just ain't gonna be right without football. I dread it. I do so
hope they come to their COLLECTIVE SENSES and work
this thing out.

If we are having training camp then I think that Payton will follow the same path as in the past by slowly easing injured players players back into action. If you rush an injury and the player gets hurt again it can become a nagging injury as well as losing the player for additional games.
