Best first quarter of football I\'ve seeen the Saints play all year! Tampa is makeing mistakes and we are makeing them pay for them. Damn I\'d love to see this team put together a complete game, they are off to a great start.

Agreed completely Billy. That Joe Horn drop cost dearly. He CANNOT drop a TD pass every game! Ridiculous.

Likewise, AB CANNOT fumble twice a game every week. Ridiculous - that airball cost us at least 3 points. Brooks was playing a fantastic game, right up until then.

Special teams looked good right up until that blocked punt! Maybe Michael Lewis learned what can happen when he cuts it up the middle of the field instead of running for the sidelines like a.

I think that a player owes us 2 outstanding plays for every one screw up. Bellamy missed that tackle on the TE to allow the TD earlier and just made a fine play to stop \'em on 4 & 1. But he still owes us another.

I was thinking the same thing Billy. All the crap I\'ve given Bellamy this year, I\'ve got to apologize and admit I was wrong about him. He\'s been playing like a champ, and I\'m glad we\'ve got him. He\'s really stepped it up over last season.

The one other thing I want to say is God bless Mitch Berger. Man that guy can kick. He may deserve to go to the Pro Bowl. Yeah he got one blocked, but it wasn\'t his fault. When a guy comes virtually untouched up the middle you won\'t get a lot of kicks off. But the three he has had - two have been out of bounds inside the ten and one was was fair caught and then in typical saints style totally botched, but it was a perfect kick.

Missed field goal as I type this. Perfect! 3rd and 1 and you don\'t get it in a game like this. We don\'t deserve the playoffs. Period. I just can\'t make myself believe this team is worthy of a shot.

The offensive line looks like the 5 stooges out there now - falling all over each other and such.

Question: How is First Down: Incomplete, 2-10: Run Deuce up the middle for max of 2 yards, 3-8 Incomplete a good plan?!?!

Why not run Deuce on FIRST down. Then if it\'s second and 8 you can pass. We are KILLING ourselves by doing nothing on first and second down and having third and long and letting their D pin their ears back and come after us. Poor execution, THREE Brooks fumbles, dropped passes, and terrible play calling. How can you think this team deserves a chance at the playoffs?

You\'re right Bill, it is in Brooks\' hands. This whole game has been, and we see where it\'s getting us. It\'s not all his fault, but he\'s proving that he can\'t step it up when he needs to. Man, another year without the playoffs.
