Tommy Myers was one of the best, hardest working DB's we had in the late 70's/early 80's.

I remember the 1-15 season, by seasons end, he was the only person giving his FULL effort the entire year until the bitter end.

I can tell you he does not. He was apparently very responsible with his money, and I think back in his playing days was already encouraging fellow players not to spend those checks all in one place. I believe he also counseled players after he retired. He strikes me as being a "personal responsibilty" type guy.
