Funny thing, my wife and I kinda got a bit worn last year, as primetime games and 3pm starts in the Dome are a bit harder for us travelwise. I told her one day, "You know the one thing about losing that was good-- all our games were plain old Sunday noon kickoffs.

But I'll take the tradeoff.
fun thread, mojofo. I noticed some article the other day on yahoo about what women think about what men wear-- and one of the last lines was, "Sure guys you can still wear that Drew Brees jersey."

Tell you what I've noticed. Every gas station on I-10 around Baytown has as much Saints stuff now as Texans stuff. Sunday, in Cove, just west past the Trinity River--- they had a whole rack of Saints stuff, and the station I stopped at at Old River had a great Saints car flag.

I dont care what kind of "wagon" it is, Im so happy to see this happening.

And that carries in to houston, and katy where I stay as well. It's funny as hell, I think I am walking around the streets of New Orleans with all the fluer de leis stickers and banners plastered on autos. Saints definitely ride hard here, WHO DAT!!!!

The character actually wore Saints gear in a handful of episodes. Maybe the actor likes the Saints?

Baytown Race Fans Love the Saints

Get this yall,

I'm at the racetrack in Baytown TX yesterday (NHRA Oreilly Spring Nationals)

Naturally, I wore my SBXLIV t-shirt & black fleur de lis cap.

I must have saw over 200 people dressed in Saints gear. Drew and Reggie jerseys, "whodat" t-shirts. It was like every 5 or 6 minutes someone would walk by in Saints stuff.

I saw exactly ONE Texans cap. Cowboy stuff: (which used to be all over the place) maybe one. This guy has a goofed up looking blue star-- I couldnt even tell if it was supposed to be cowboys or not, so the total of Cowboys stuff could be zero.

At one point, during one of the breaks, they were doing some kind of "random fan" contest, and the lady had a Saints cap on, which the announcer noticed, and said, "Do we have any Saints fans here," which got some nice scattered yells around the crowd.

Southeast Texas.
