Saints draft, day two (and beyond) - what's next??

#24, DE/DT - Cameron Jordan
#28, RB - Mark Ingram

As of today, here's what's left for us to work with:

Round 3 - Pick 8 (72)
Round 3 - Pick 24 (88)
Round 7 - Pick 23 (226)
Round 7 - Pick 40 (243)

What do you feel is next on the agenda for the Saints?

Me? I think we target OLB, DL, S and OL

papz 04-29-2011 09:03 AM

With two 3rd round picks, I'd like a DT and the other one I'm open to any position. I don't find OLB to be a glaring hole as others do. I wouldn't be surprised to see a small school prospect with one of those picks... we do it every year.

saintsfan1976 04-29-2011 09:08 AM

I still think we need to add a WR.

Luda34 04-29-2011 09:30 AM

I hope we get a OLB

RaginCajun83 04-29-2011 09:35 AM

OLB and Oline today

CheramieIII 04-29-2011 10:23 AM

What do we do with pick #72 and #88

I bet we pick up an OLB or 2

OLB and S or two LBs

papz 04-29-2011 10:38 AM

I'd be inclined to give up my left testicle for a chance as Bowers in the second.

Euphoria 04-29-2011 11:00 AM

I think we are trading up and getting the DE from Pitt... he can play OLB.

nevergiveup3 04-29-2011 11:25 AM

Any chance we trade our 2 #3s and get Akeem Ayers?

Danno 04-29-2011 11:28 AM

1. OLB
2. RT
3. DT
4. TE or SS

why the hell not, go for it and get ayers and go into history as the best draft ever assembled.

TE and S

A starter would be great! We definately are needing a OLB.Shanle was usually in a good position to make the play but would fall short because of his diminishing skills .Solid player, but the upgrade is much needed and over due(Stanley Arnoux)??..Cassillas was showing promise too.I'm hoping Charles Brown turns up to be the player we drafted him to be THIS year too!

No Chip Vaughns please!

I'd say DT or another DE and an OLB in the 3rd. A guard in the 7th. We're pretty set on the OL, just need a backup or two in there. I could se another DB in the 7th too.

You can never have to many CB's would have like one with some size and speed, but don't think it will matter if we get our pass rush back

OLB then look for a flyer at the RT position

But Pete, to be fair Vaughn was the 2nd/3rd highest rated safety in that draft. Hindsight is 20-20 but he was an excellent prospect initially.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention Danno.I(Pete) wasn't TOTALLY fair in this half-hearted comment. What I should've said was;Mickey please don't bring us a potential starter type guy with an injury in the midst, prohibiting him to earn his spot on our beloved team.I was disgusted how that went down that's all,but O.K Danno I wasn't totally fair dude!

Mickey:Pete what kind of chit is this?Look @ his credentials..
Pete: psychic chit Mickey..psychic:bng:
