I believe that he has the stickiest hands on the roster and that alone sets him above the others. He would wear down toward the end of the season if he was a starter but as a rotational player he could still make some good things happen.
If he leaves here someone will pay good money for his leadership and veteran savvy.
Yeah, thats how I see it too. I don't think he was ever fully recovered from his microfracture surgery last year. Older guys take longer to heal so if hes back to form , lets keep him this one last year and see how he plays. Plus he really lays people out, the guy will flat nail you.

I agree that if healthy I would let him play as long as he wants, but that's the tricky part of being a GM. When is it time to fish...and when is it time to cut bait?

As far as the player is concerned there are two factors. The money, of course...who wouldn't want to work another year for a few million...and then there's that thing where the brain is saying go and the body is saying no.
