Representing on the Houston Airwaves tomorrow

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; 6:20am tomorrow-- the morning show on my station does this "love connection" type thing. They've taped the phone call already. Anyway, our morning show host calls the guy, says, Hi this is Tuttle from the Q Morning Zoo, and one ...

Representing on the Houston Airwaves tomorrow

6:20am tomorrow-- the morning show on my station does this "love connection" type thing. They've taped the phone call already.

Anyway, our morning show host calls the guy, says, Hi this is Tuttle
from the Q Morning Zoo, and one of the first things the guy says is
"Oh, Tell Skymike I said WHOOOO DATTT!" hahahaha.

Both the guy and the girl are Saints fans, and their story is pretty funny.

Im always proud to represent here.

I'll try to remember that tomorrow morning. I usually don't think very well that early! Not much better later either!

I'm in hostile territory up here too. Some folks don't like my calls very much but I still represent. I'm the only Saints fan on the sports shows and bars. It's a tough job some days but I give it my best.

Oh, its not hostile here in Houston. I see Saints stickers on vehicles all day driving here, as there must be 100,000 Saints fans here. We, if you havent read the Houston thread, have a large group of WhoDats who get together here, and we own whatever bar we meet in, plus we're always the loudest ones.

Plus Houston is a dead sports city. Everyone here is from somewhere else. There really are no Texans fans. People who go to the Texans are only there because someone had tickets at their office, or it was some corporate perk. Compare that to Saints fans who paint walls at their house black and gold, and have 1,000 pieces of Saints memorabilia.

Must be nice for you all to have all the black and gold around when you go out!

But yeah, I guess all the Houston sports teams kinda suck. Disastros included.
