He was not worth the investment last year. I love the guy, appreciate what he did in 2009, but we need to move on.

It would be good for him to retire with the Saints. I think he could make a good imapct for this season..when there is one. Using him, while training and using a new player, would be a good thing as someone posted earlier.
This lockout is way too long.

Its a performance thing...tied to a health thing...wrapped around an age thing. IF he's healthy and can perform at a high enough level to clear the depth chart, work a deal and sign him. If he's hobbled, slow, or just can't get it up anymore, hire him as an assistant db coach.

I can see one more season, got to be well healed from surgery.
