New Orleans Saints Stanley Arnoux has Super Bowl ring stolen in Miami

New Orleans Saints linebacker Stanley Arnoux had his Super Bowl XLIV ring stolen from his car while in Miami Beach. According to reports, the ring was stolen as his car was parked outside of nightclub called LIV.

Arnoux left the club at the Fontainebleau Hotel around 7:00 AM on Monday morning and he advised police that when he got his car back from the valet, his ring was gone. The Saints linebacker states the ring was last left in the center console of his vehicle.

Miami Beach police advised Local 10 in Miami that they are investigating this matter as if it were a possible case of grand theft. Arnooux lives in Sunrise, Florida during the offseason and didn't have much to say about the incident.

"This isn't something that's supposed to be public like that," Arnoux told the station.

Making matters possibly worse is that the ring was earned by Arnoux when the Saints won the Super Bowl in Sun Life Stadium in Miami. His ring is valued at $30,000.

Ouch! I can see someone from the valet company losing their job over this one

foreverfan 06-06-2011 11:03 PM

Did he actually earn it? I think I've found it.

Can't mean that much to him if left in a console. Hope he gets it back though and whoever stole it gets a breakdown.

It's suppose to be on your hand not to be left in the car. I don't feel sorry for him it was a dum decision.

I don't think he will make the team this year but yes the Saints will get another ring this year.

If he has the innate ability to make those kinds of decisions, can he make the kind of quick decisions needed by a quality lb on a football team?

1. maroon

Term of derision often uttered by Bugs Bunny when referring to an interaction with a dopey adversary. It is a mispronunciation of the word "Moron"

"What a Maroon!" "Will ya get a load of this maroon"

I can't believe that someone would leave something like that in their car! Thats like leaving your brand new laptop computer in the back seat of the car and then wondering why someone smashed the window and took it!

Oh well, thats life I suppose!

AlaskaSaints 06-08-2011 07:23 PM

Number ONE question...

How many tackles did he have in that Superbowl?

I'm jus' sayin'... He may have been ashamed to wear it.

Anyway, I'm BUMMED that he got it stolen. I also hate a thief. Lowest form of life.

He's exiting the club at 7 am. 7 AM. The valet blame thing might just be a convenient cover up for not being able to remember which "sweet cheeks" he let wear/walk away with the thing while in the club that night.

Chesapeake 06-12-2011 09:41 AM

why

WHY would he have left something that valuable in the car when vallet parking? Shouldn't it have been ON HIS HAND?
