(2) The health of numerous players who are coming off surgery – RB Pierre Thomas, RB Chris Ivory, WR Marques Colston, RT Jon Stinchcomb, P Thomas Morstead and LB Jonathan Casillas, among others.

I find this to be the most important of all the questions. If healthy, there's no reason why we shouldn't battle for the NFC Crown.

PT barely played last year. He'll be ready.
Ivory barely played in college so I'm not surprised by him being hurt last year nor do I expect his health to be an issue this year.
Colston is ready. I dare you to leave him in single-coverage...
Stinch had an off year. He's 31 but only a 5yr starter. He'll bounce back.
Morstead...learn how to tackle like a punter.
Casillas - who isn't pulling for this kid.

I can still remember the morstead tackle, in all fairness to our young punter he made a football players play by making that tackle.
He didn't shy out or go at it half hearted, he tried to seriously floor the kick returner!

Give me a punter with a head hunter mentality........I might even give up a couple of picks for him. Of course, I'd need to clear that with Danno first.:airguitar:

(3) Will Saints Coach Sean Payton go after a home-run WR in free agency to complement Colston, Robert Meachem, Devery Henderson and perhaps Lance Moore? One man’s opinion: All four will not be on the 2011 opening-day roster.

(4) Speaking of Moore, if given a chance to shop himself in free agency, I hope he remembers one simple thing: Drew Brees makes everyone around him better, including Lance Moore.

I wonder what he means with home-run WR? I thought thats what we have in Henderson and maybe Meachem. The problem with the big pass play is how shoddy our running game was last year. Most every team would just sit back deeper to keep our short routs in front of them which also limits the ability to go deep.

He makes a valid point about Moore and every other WR on the team. Jimmy Graham would not have looked as great if he was catching balls from Clausen last year.
