Free agency
Thought we could take a look at our free agents. This is the list. It may not include every single player but should be most of the key ones.
QB: Chase Daniel RB: Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush, Heath Evans WR: Lance Moore TE: David Thomas OL: Jonathan Goodwin, Carl Nicks, Jermon Bushrod, Zach Strief DL: Remi Ayodele, Anthony Hargrove LB: Scott Shanle, Jolonn Dunbar, Marvin Mitchell CB: none S: Roman Harper, Darren Sharper, Usama Young ST: Hartley What is everyone's thoughts of what will happen? Personally I believe they will try to stand pat as much as possible. I think Reggie and Shanle will both be gone and they'll probably cut Randall Gay to save money. It's going to be a feat if Loomis can manage to keep the core of the team together. I'm afraid Moore, Harper and Goodwin are going to draw some major attention. |

The majority will be back. I can see Moore leaving if someone breaks the bank for him... it'll be too hard to turn down. Come to think of it, the Bucs have a boatload of cash to toss around and they're in need of a WR #2 to compliment the rising Mike Williams.
That would suck. |

yes, majority of these guys will be back. If this was the 2004 saints...then i would venture to say they wouldnt be back. We are a top 3 team...they know this. people want to play for a contender and that is what we are. if someone wants to leave then i dont want them here cause they really must have no sense

Anybody worth their salt wants to play as much as possible. I wouldn't blame somebody like him for leaving. That's going to be the tough part, keeping the good depth players. |
