Do you think Bush will stay for less money?

IMO, Bush's best chance for success is here.

I hope he stays, but if he does leave, I hope he doesn't follow other former Saints and go to the falcAints, although I am not really worried about him being able to hurt us when the teams play

If bush wants to win games and win another championship, his best hope to do that is to stay here, mostly because coach payton knows how to use him to be successful.
If he wants to go somewhere else due to money, then so be it, I'd rather he stay, and like I've said Many times - hes going to get decreased touches so use his speed on kick returns, him and roby as the return men!

Most of us can see that Bush's best chance for success is in the Sean Payton schemes. I hope Bush sees it that way too. But with a ring already on hand though, cash might make the monkey dance. Lets see: I was promised 11 - won't get it...they offer me 2.5 x 4 and someone else offers 4.5 x 4 with guarantees....??? Does anybody here really think Bush is going to get another BIG offer 4 years from now? This may be his last opp for a payday, and someone said in another thread, it only takes one. One team thinking they can sell a few more tickets. I would love to see him stay and play and that's only going to happen if he accepts average pay.

It goes without saying that Bush will go to the highest bidder, unless it is to a team like Cleveland.

I do believe that Bush wants to win more than he wants a big paycheck, but if he stays or not will ultimately boil down to how the Loomis deals with him.

If he gives Bush a ridiculously low number, then Bush will bolt.

It will take a team like the Charger/Patriots showing Bush a big # with a dollar sign in front of it to get him to leave; otherwise I think he will stay with the Saints.

Considering the Saints will still have Pierre Thomas, Chris Ivory, Lynell Hamilton & Mark Ingram, I wont be too tore up if Bush leaves.

Look, all this talk in the media about Bush leaving, being traded, etc. etc. is just that...talk. The media is board to death, and it would love nothing more than to create rifts between team's fans, the teams and the players. They are trying to create stories out of thin air. I trust Sean Payton to do the right thing. If he says Bush has to go, then he has to go. If he says he has to stay, then he has to stay. I'm tired of all this speculation th media is doing. Me, I'm just going to wait and see what happens when the CBA is finalized.

Posturing.

That's all he's doing - and SHOULD be doing as a potential free agent.

Let's not get confused here. Reggie Bush is a business. Yes, he plays football but no matter how he performed last season his potential for the next season is what brings the bucks.

I can honestly say that I probably (and unconsciously) cheer a little more for Reggie when he makes a great play than any other player. As soon as the guy busts a 50yd TD I can just hear the CHA-CHING!!! And so can sponsors.

I don't blame Bush anymore for how he's handling things. He has to look out for himself too.

Besides, Payton knows Bush probably better than he knows himself and the fact that he's allowed Reggie to speak to other teams shows a lot of respect.

I hope he stays. I think we all do. But the key is AT THE RIGHT PRICE.

For me - as a fan - Reggie Bush has been a complete roller coaster of emotions. I want him here and then I want him gone.

But most of all I WANT him to succeed in black and gold.

Here's to letting the chips fall where they may.

I too want him to succeed, and would prefer it to be in the B&G, but from what I've seen over 5 years I'm convinced he's simply a role player scat back.

I wouldn't give him much more than average #2 RB money, and technically he's our 4th best.
